Raja Eileen Soraya is a management partner with the Firm, Messrs. Raja, Darryl & Loh and practises in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. Her practice focuses on medico-legal & dento-legal matters as well as reputational management and media law. Eileen currently heads the Healthcare Practice Group at the Firm and she has appeared as Counsel in all levels of the Malaysian courts and regularly appears in disciplinary tribunals involving doctors and dentists. She has also been actively involved in providing legal advice on virtual healthcare consultations and digitalisations of healthcare in Malaysia, to both domestic and foreign players. Eileen has been recognised by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific publication for many years as a Leading Individual in Dispute Resolution, and was listed in its Hall of Fame in its 2021 to 2025 editions. She was also ranked as a Leading Lawyer in Dispute Resolution in Asialaw Profiles for the years 2016 – 2019 and as a Distinguished Practitioner for 2020 – 2024. Benchmark Litigation listed her as a “Litigation Star” from 2018 to 2025. Eileen was listed in the inaugural edition of Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific Top 100 Women in Litigation and has been listed every year since then. Eileen has also been listed in The Legal 500’s “Arbitration Powerlist: Southeast Asia”, a list of the leading arbitration practitioners in Southeast Asia. Eileen is the former Chairperson of the Malaysian Bar Council’s Advocacy Training Committee. She graduated from the London School of Economics & Political Science and was called to the English Bar before being enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
