DR AVATAR SINGH MOHAN SINGH, is currently based at Taiping Hospital,Perak, Malaysia, since August 2008 –prior to that he was based at the Sarawak General Hospital, Kuching,Sarawak; He obtained his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College,Manipal in 1994 and than Master in ORL-Head & Surgery from UKM in 2002; He did his Fellowship in Head-Neck Surgery And Reconstruction at St. Vincent Hospital, Melbourne, Australia from November 2007 till July 2008. He has been a trainer for the head-neck subspecialty for the Ministry of Health Malaysia since 2010 and has produce many papers for the local and international journals.Also a member of the Executive Committee of Asia Pacific Society of Thyroid surgery 2023-2026[APTS] and a board member of Asia Society of Head and Neck Oncology ( ASHNO) since 2023.

Professor Dr Baharudin Bin Abdullah is a Professor and Surgeon in Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Universiti Sains Malaysia. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in Universiti Malaya; and Master of Medicine – Otorhinolaryngology (head & neck surgery) in Universiti Sains Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Baharudin also completed his fellowship overseas including in Germany, Austria and Hong Kong. He is also a distinguished researcher who has made significant contributions to medical research and education. Prof. Dr Baharudin has published extensively in reputable journals and also actively organizing medical conferences and workshops. His dedication to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care has established him as a leading figure in the field of Otorhinolaryngology.

Dr. Carren Teh Sui Lin is a highly skilled ORL-HNS specialist with over 2 decades of experience in the medical field. She graduated from the University of Malaya in 2003 with an MBBS, followed by a Master’s in ORL-HNS in 2011. Dr. Carren currently serves as the Head of the Department of ORL-HNS at Sg Buloh Hospital, where she has been practicing since 2011. In addition to her clinical role, she is an academic lecturer at Taylor’s Medical University and supervisor to numerous master students contributing to the education of future medical professionals. Dr. Carren also holds a Diploma in Vestibular Medicine and completed her Ph.D. on the research into Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) in 2023. In 2024, she took on the role of Honorary Secretary for ENDOKL, showcasing her leadership in the medical community and is currently the Deputy Secretary for APSCI 2025.

Dr. David Yee Leong Wai is a distinguished Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He earned his MD from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and further specialized with an MRCS ENT from Edinburgh and an MS ORL-HNS from the University of Malaya. Dr. Yee has extensive training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery, having completed fellowships at University Sarawak Malaysia and Graubünden Cantonal Hospital in Switzerland. Throughout his career, Dr. Yee has served in various capacities, including senior clinical specialist roles at Putrajaya Hospital and Sarawak General Hospital. His clinical expertise covers a wide range of ENT conditions, including sinus and nasal diseases, head and neck swellings, and obstructive sleep apnea.

Dr. Tuang Geng Ju Eric graduated from the International Medical University (IMU) in 2013. He obtained his postgraduate qualification in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (DR ORL-HNS) from the University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2022. Dr. Eric Tuang has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd(ENT)) since 2017 and achieved fellowship status with the European Board of Examination in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (FEBE ORL-HNS) in 2023. His professional interests are focused on otology, with a particular emphasis on implantology and endoscopic ear surgery.

Dr. Jeeve Kanagalingam is an ENT Surgeon with The ENT Clinic in Singapore – a Specialist group practice he established in 2015. The group has three branches in Singapore. He is also Assistant Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, where he teaches undergraduate ENT and head and neck anatomy. He has an expertise in head and neck surgery, thyroid surgery and laryngology. A graduate of the University of Oxford, he completed his advanced training in London, at several renowned institutions including the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear, Royal Marsden and Charing Cross Hospitals. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England – receiving the Gold Medal in Otolaryngology in 2006. Dr Jeeve completed a head and neck surgical oncology fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia in 2007 and undertook a short period of training in laryngology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2011. In Singapore, he was a Consultant with Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Chief of the Head and Neck Service until his departure for private practice. He also ran the Voice Clinic. A keen researcher and educator, he has published 39 peer-reviewed publications, 3 book chapters and has a scopus h-index of 17.

Please provide a short biography of not more than 150 words. Associate Prof. Dr. Jeyanthi Kulasegarah recently joined Subang Jaya Medical Centre in January 2025. Previously, she was the Head of the Visibility, Information and Communications Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya and Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery for 2 years from 2022. She obtained her medical degree and FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2001 and 2015, respectively. Upon completing ENT training in Ireland, she travelled to Birmingham, United Kingdom, to complete a year fellowship in Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery, and subsequently to Auckland, New Zealand, for a second fellowship in Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology. She continues to be active in teaching and research.

Dr. Lo Ren Hui obtained his medical degree from Melaka Manipal Medical College. He obtained his Master’s Degree in ORL-HNS from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2021. He is currently undergoing his Rhinology training at Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah. Lo has a specific interest in Rhinology, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and skull base surgery.

After graduating with a degree in Dentistry with honours in 1998 (University of Sydney), Dr Manish went on to complete a degree in Medicine in 2005 (University of Sydney). With a special interest in craniofacial pain and sleep disorders, Dr Manish has also completed a Masters in Medicine in Sleep Medicine (University of Sydney). Over the past 20 years, he has set up special clinics in TMD and Sleep Management and provides a wholistic medical and dental approach to patients with these disrders.

Dr. Minh Hoang is a lecturer and consultant rhinologist at the Department of Otolaryngology, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, as well as Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. He is currently the Central Working Committee Board member of the ASEAN Rhinologic Society. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Science from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Hoang conducts research across various areas of rhinology and has received three research travel awards from the European Rhinologic Society and the European Respiratory Society. His expertise as a rhinologist includes overseeing clinical studies on allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis and conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses in the same fields. He has published papers on rhinology and endoscopic sinus surgery in international journals and serves as a reviewer for prestigious ENT journals worldwide.

A/Prof Narinder Singh is a Rhinologist, Chief of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Westmead Hospital, Sydney (Australia’s largest hospital complex) and Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Sydney (Australia’s oldest and largest medical school). He has published over 90 peer-reviewed publications, university textbooks and book chapters and has given over 240 guest and keynote presentations at international scientific meetings. He has supervised 11 PhD and Masters students to completion with another 6 PhD and Masters students currently under supervision. His team has received major funding from the Australian Research Council, Passe and Williams Foundation, Microsoft, ResMed, Optinose and GSK. His key research themes are Artificial Intelligence (AI) (www.amsah.org) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) (www.scona.org). His flagship research project is DrumBeat.ai, using artificial intelligence to address ear disease in rural and remote Australian Aboriginal children (www.DrumBeat.ai).

Peter Catalano, MD, FACS, FARS graduated from Columbia University School of Engineering, followed by an MD from The Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine (MSH) in New York City. Completed his Residency at MSH and became a full-time faculty member (1990-1999) as an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, and Maxillofacial Surgery. From 2000-2010 he was Chair of Otolaryngology at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, followed by Chair of Surgery at Steward Health Care (2010-2012) then Chief of Otolaryngology and Rhinology Fellowship Director at SEMC and Professor of Otolaryngology at Tufts University from 2010-2023. In 8/24, became the Director of the “Dream On” Sleep and Sinus Clinic in Riyadh, KSA. Academically active with over 340 invited lectures, 25 book chapters, and 95+ peer-reviewed publications.

Rama Krsna serves as an associate professor in the Department of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at the National University of Malaysia. He holds significant leadership positions, including the role of country representative for the AO Foundation. He is also a life member of the Malaysian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a founding committee member of the Malaysian Dentofacial Sleep Society. Additionally, Krsna heads the Orthognathic Division and oversees the Master’s training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the university. His research and surgical expertise concentrate on orthognathic surgery and restorative sleep surgical medicine. He actively contributes to the development of national clinical guidelines for sleep-related issues and the multidisciplinary management of sleep disorders. His practice is recognized as one of the leading centers for the use of virtual surgical planning and patient-specific implants in both orthognathic and sleep surgery. Under his leadership, the orthognathic division has become one of Malaysia's primary referral centers for complex skeletal and sleep surgeries.

Ravin Singh is the founding partner of Messrs Vin Partnership, a law firm specializing in Criminal Litigation, Personal Injury Insurance Claims, and Family Law. With extensive experience handling both blue- and white-collar criminal cases, Ravin represents clients through every stage of legal proceedings, including investigations, remands, and trials. His expertise extends to high-stakes personal injury and insurance litigation, where he advises both plaintiffs and defendants, particularly in complex cases involving fraud, exaggerated claims, prosthetics, and long-term care assessments. A qualified Barrister-at-Law from the Middle Temple, Ravin also holds an MSc in Economic Crime Management and has served in multiple leadership roles, including as Chairperson of the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee, Chairman of the Kuala Lumpur Legal Aid Centre, and various committees within the Malaysian Bar Council. He has trained hundreds of lawyers across Malaysia and lectured on Criminal Procedure and Tort. Ravin is a sought-after speaker, regularly giving talks on Criminal and Personal Injury Law. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Bar Council Personal Injury Claims & Awards Committee.

He is a Senior Consultant in Otolaryngology and Head of Department for Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. He is the director of the JurongHealth Hearing Implant Programm which provides funding for hearing implants in patients with financial needs. His interests are in hearing health, hearing implant devices, endoscopic ear surgery and vestibular management. He has been involved in medical education in the last 15 years as the programme director, institutional residency official and was recently appointed as the residency advisory committee chairman for Otolaryngology in Singapore.

Dr Rosalind Simon is a senior consultant ENT Surgeon at Pantai Hospital Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. She completed her undergraduate training in India and completed her postgraduate studies in University Science Malaysia and subsequently completed fellowship training in the field of Head and Neck Surgery awarded by Ministry of Health Malaysia. She had also undergone Fellowship Training in Sleep Disorders at the Excellence Center for Sleep Disorders, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, Bangkok, Thailand from 2010 to 2011. Currently she practices both general ENT as well as manage sleep disorders in Pantai Hospital Ipoh.

Dr. Shailendra completed his Masters in Otorhinolaryngologyfrom University Malaya in 2006 and was awarded the Marhakim Prize for most outstanding candidate in the Final ORL HNS Conjoint Board examinations. He completed his training in Otology, Neuro-Otology and Base of Skull Surgeryat the Gruppo Otologico in Piacenza, Italy under the worldrenowned surgeon Professor Mario Sanna. In 2011 he became the first Malaysian Surgeon to complete the European Board Examinations and be Board Certified as a Fellow of the European Board of ORL – HNS. Dr. Shailendra is an internationally acknowledged expert in the management of complex Middle and Inner Ear disorders, Vertigo, Anterior and Posterior Skull Base Disorders and Surgical Restoration of Hearing including Cochlear Implants and Bone Conduction Implants. He is currently the Head of the Otorhinolaryngology Unit at Sunway Medical Centre.

A/Prof Siow’s subspecialty interest is in Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgery and Rhinology. He graduated MBBS in 1982 and obtained his Doctorate in Medicine from the National University of Singapore in 2006 for his thesis entitled “A Study of Asian Paranasal Sinus Anatomy Using Tri-Planar Projections on Computed Tomograph Scans.”. He has lectured and conducted endoscopic sinus surgery workshops in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Cambodia, Cuba, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, India, Japan, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, New Zealand, Oman, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United States of America, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam. He is reviewer for the European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology and Head & Neck, International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology, The Laryngoscope and the Sultan Qaboos University Medical Journal.

Dr Wong currently work as a consultant ENT in Sunway Medical Centre. He graduated as a ENT specialist from University Malaya in the year of 2016. After that , he pursue fellowship in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery from various centre including Australia, Switzerland and Malaysia. He has vast experiences working in many other hospital including Ministry of Health hospital and University Hospital. Previously he work as a lecturer and clinical specialist in University Malaya. He also actively involved in giving talks to ENT colleague , general practisioner and pharmacist. Besides that, Dr Wong also involved in public health talk including tv channel programme , newspaper column and social media talk. Dr Wong has many publications in high tier and high impact journal including New England Journal of Medicine.

Dr Yogesvaran Kanapaty is a 2006 IMU Alumni. He obtained his Masters in ORL-HNS from University of Malaya in 2016. He completed his gazettment in Hospital Tuanku Jaafar, Seremban and subsequently served East Malaysia in Hospital Sandakan, Sabah. He pursued subspeciality in Rhinology by KKM (Ministry of Health) in 2019. Throughout his training and upon completion he has assisted and performed numerous complex rhinology and skull base surgeries. He was serving as Consultant Rhinologist ENT Surgeon in Hospital Serdang till 2023 before taking up current post in Columbia Asia Bukit Jalil, KL.

Zamberi Sekawi holds a distinguished position in the field of Medical Microbiology as a Professor and Senior Consultant Clinical Microbiologist. He has also served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation and the former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
