Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adli Ali is a Consultant in General Pediatrics and Clinical Immunology and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He also serves as Director of the UKM HPKK Research Centre and Head of Clinical Immunology at UKM Children's Specialist Hospital. An expert in pediatric immunology and allergy, Dr. Adli earned his Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Pediatrics-Developmental Immunology and a Master’s in Integrated Immunology from the University of Oxford. His specialized training includes allergy and molecular immunology across renowned institutions such as Erasmus Medical Center and Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital. A passionate advocate for allergy management and immunological disorders, Dr. Adli has led numerous research projects and published extensively in high-impact journals. He is a founding member of the Southeast Asia Primary Immunodeficiency Network (SEAPID), committed to advancing care for children with allergies and immunological diseases.

Dr. Arthur Wong is a dedicated Otorhinolaryngologist - Head & Neck Surgeon, currently leading the ENT Department at Labuan Hospital. He earned his MD from Kursk State Medical University in 2009, followed by a Master’s in Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery from University of Malaya in 2022. In 2023, he obtained a Membership of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Wong is a versatile surgeon with extensive experience, particularly from his work in rural Sabah. In addition to his clinical practice, he engages in research and medical education, playing an active role in shaping the future of Otorhinolaryngology.

Dr. Aung Htet Htun, a distinguished ORL-Head and Neck Surgeon in Myanmar, excels in surgical education and practice. With expertise in otolaryngology and medical endoscopy, he is dedicated to advancing surgical techniques and fostering future medical professionals. Currently a Lecturer/Consultant at the University of Medicine 2, Yangon, Dr. Aung has held key roles since 2009, including Specialist Registrar and Assistant Lecturer. An M.B.,B.S. (2007) and M.Med.Sc. Gold Medalist (2015), he earned his Dr.Med.Sc. in 2019 and MRCS(Ed) in 2020. His passion for innovation and excellence drives his commitment to improving patient outcomes and medical education.

DR AVATAR SINGH MOHAN SINGH, is currently based at Taiping Hospital,Perak, Malaysia, since August 2008 –prior to that he was based at the Sarawak General Hospital, Kuching,Sarawak; He obtained his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College,Manipal in 1994 and than Master in ORL-Head & Surgery from UKM in 2002; He did his Fellowship in Head-Neck Surgery And Reconstruction at St. Vincent Hospital, Melbourne, Australia from November 2007 till July 2008. He has been a trainer for the head-neck subspecialty for the Ministry of Health Malaysia since 2010 and has produce many papers for the local and international journals.Also a member of the Executive Committee of Asia Pacific Society of Thyroid surgery 2023-2026[APTS] and a board member of Asia Society of Head and Neck Oncology ( ASHNO) since 2023.

Dr. Azida is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Johor Specialist Hospital, Johor Bahru. She graduated from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, in 1997 and obtained the MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom and a Masters in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2011. At Johor Specialist Hospital, she treats adult and paediatric patients in a general ENT setting. She is also a clinical lecturer with KPJ Healthcare University and plays an active role as the Chairman of the Medical Education Committee at her hospital.

Professor Dr Baharudin Bin Abdullah is a Professor and Surgeon in Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Universiti Sains Malaysia. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in Universiti Malaya; and Master of Medicine – Otorhinolaryngology (head & neck surgery) in Universiti Sains Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Baharudin also completed his fellowship overseas including in Germany, Austria and Hong Kong. He is also a distinguished researcher who has made significant contributions to medical research and education. Prof. Dr Baharudin has published extensively in reputable journals and also actively organizing medical conferences and workshops. His dedication to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care has established him as a leading figure in the field of Otorhinolaryngology.

Dr. Carren Teh Sui Lin is a highly skilled ORL-HNS specialist with over 2 decades of experience in the medical field. She graduated from the University of Malaya in 2003 with an MBBS, followed by a Master’s in ORL-HNS in 2011. Dr. Carren currently serves as the Head of the Department of ORL-HNS at Sg Buloh Hospital, where she has been practicing since 2011. In addition to her clinical role, she is an academic lecturer at Taylor’s Medical University and supervisor to numerous master students contributing to the education of future medical professionals. Dr. Carren also holds a Diploma in Vestibular Medicine and completed her Ph.D. on the research into Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) in 2023. In 2024, she took on the role of Honorary Secretary for ENDOKL, showcasing her leadership in the medical community and is currently the Deputy Secretary for APSCI 2025.

Dr. David Yee Leong Wai is a distinguished Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He earned his MD from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and further specialized with an MRCS ENT from Edinburgh and an MS ORL-HNS from the University of Malaya. Dr. Yee has extensive training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery, having completed fellowships at University Sarawak Malaysia and Graubünden Cantonal Hospital in Switzerland. Throughout his career, Dr. Yee has served in various capacities, including senior clinical specialist roles at Putrajaya Hospital and Sarawak General Hospital. His clinical expertise covers a wide range of ENT conditions, including sinus and nasal diseases, head and neck swellings, and obstructive sleep apnea.

Associate Professor Dr Dipak Banarsi Dass is a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist and has worked in Kuala Lumpur Hospital and University Hospital (PPUM) for the past 20 years in different disciplines. He obtained his MBBS from University Of Mysore, India, in 1992. He then commenced specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Malaya from 2001-2005 and was subsequently awarded the Masters in Otorhinoloaryngology( MS ORL HNS ). He then returned to Kuala Lumpur Hospital In 2005. He is involved as a speaker in both International and Local seminars and forums. He is also involved in training, teaching and gazetting junior doctors interested in Otorhinolaryngology and Rhinology. Associate Professor Dr Dipak underwent fellowship training in 2007 at Kuala Lumpur Hospital. In 2009, he went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore as a Rhinology Fellow. During his training there for a year, he gained valuable experience in Rhinoplasty and Reconstructive surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery and Management of Snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. He has also published in peer reviewed journals both locally and Internationally.Appointed as Clinical Associate Professor for KPJUC, involved in training Masters students in Otorhinolaryngology (KPJ master’s program) and Training of Staff Nurses on ENT Post Basic training.

Dr. Eng Chee Yean is a highly regarded consultant in the hospital and healthcare sector, recognized for his expertise in the surgical pathology and management of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, neck, salivary glands, thyroid, and parathyroid. With a solid background in direct clinical care, he combines clinical excellence with strong leadership skills, effectively applying his advanced qualifications in healthcare management. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Eng has vast experience in medico-legal work, serving as an expert witness in cases involving noise-induced hearing loss and industrial deafness. His holistic approach to patient care and commitment to improving clinical outcomes have established him as a respected leader in his field, significantly advancing healthcare practices.

Dr. Tuang Geng Ju Eric graduated from the International Medical University (IMU) in 2013. He obtained his postgraduate qualification in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (DR ORL-HNS) from the University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2022. Dr. Eric Tuang has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd(ENT)) since 2017 and achieved fellowship status with the European Board of Examination in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (FEBE ORL-HNS) in 2023. His professional interests are focused on otology, with a particular emphasis on implantology and endoscopic ear surgery.

Dr Euan Murugasu is a former Head of Department ENT Head & Neck Surgery, Director of Otology, Senior Consultant ENT surgeon at the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH-NUHS). Dr Murugasu’s clinical interests are in otology and neurotology (hearing loss and balance disorders), including implantable hearing aids, bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHAs) and cochlear implants (CIs), as well as specialised surgery for balance disorders and tumour surgery e.g. Acoustic Neuromas and Auditory Brainstem Implants (ABI), where the electrodes stimulate the cochlear nucleus directly. Dr Murugasu is trained in Endoscopic Ear Surgery (EES). It is a minimally invasive procedure for treating conditions of the ear without any visible cuts or incisions increasingly used in the United States, Europe and Japan. He is a member of the Pan Asian Work Group on EES (PAWGEES) and the International Working Group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery (IWGEES). He is adjunct faculty at the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hongkong (CUHK) and APOST which trains younger ENT doctors on this EES approach.

Dr. Farah Dayana Zahedi is a Clinical Lecturer and Consultant in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from UKM in 2006 and a Master of Surgery in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in 2013. A key member of the Rhinology Unit since 2016, her clinical expertise lies in endoscopic sinus surgery, anterior skull base surgery, allergy and septorhinoplasty. She has a particular interest in managing ENT conditions related to sinonasal inflammation, sinonasal related immunology and occupational sinus diseases. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Farah is an active researcher and educator. She has published numerous studies in rhinology and allergy. Passionate about medical education, she is the Ambassador for Active Learning, UKM and one of committee members of Examination for Provisional Registration, Malaysia Medical Council. She is mentors of postgraduate students and contributes significantly to advancing otorhinolaryngology in Malaysia.

Harvinder Singh obtained his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in India. He obtained his Master’s Degree in ORL-HNS from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2002. He then went on to complete his Rhinology training in Singapore under Assoc Prof Dharambir Singh Sethi in 2008. He is currently working as a Consultant Rhinologist and Otolaryngologists in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh, Perak since 2004. He has published numerous articles in both local and international journals. He is also the Past President of the Malaysian Medical Association, Perak Branch, Past President of the Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgeon, Past President of the ASEAN ORL Head & Neck Federation and Deputy Secretary General of the ASEAN Rhinology Society. Harvinder has a specific interest in Rhinology, endoscopic sinus surgery and skull base surgery. He currently organizes Ipoh International Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Courses, which will be in the eight year running this year as well as Ipoh International Septorhinoplasty Courses.

Dr. Jeeve Kanagalingam is an ENT Surgeon with The ENT Clinic in Singapore – a Specialist group practice he established in 2015. The group has three branches in Singapore. He is also Assistant Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, where he teaches undergraduate ENT and head and neck anatomy. He has an expertise in head and neck surgery, thyroid surgery and laryngology. A graduate of the University of Oxford, he completed his advanced training in London, at several renowned institutions including the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear, Royal Marsden and Charing Cross Hospitals. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England – receiving the Gold Medal in Otolaryngology in 2006. Dr Jeeve completed a head and neck surgical oncology fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia in 2007 and undertook a short period of training in laryngology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2011. In Singapore, he was a Consultant with Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Chief of the Head and Neck Service until his departure for private practice. He also ran the Voice Clinic. A keen researcher and educator, he has published 39 peer-reviewed publications, 3 book chapters and has a scopus h-index of 17.

Please provide a short biography of not more than 150 words. Associate Prof. Dr. Jeyanthi Kulasegarah recently joined Subang Jaya Medical Centre in January 2025. Previously, she was the Head of the Visibility, Information and Communications Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya and Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery for 2 years from 2022. She obtained her medical degree and FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2001 and 2015, respectively. Upon completing ENT training in Ireland, she travelled to Birmingham, United Kingdom, to complete a year fellowship in Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery, and subsequently to Auckland, New Zealand, for a second fellowship in Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology. She continues to be active in teaching and research.

Asst.Prof.Dr.Kachorn Seresirikachorn is a graduate of Otolaryngology (ENT) and Rhinology Fellowship training and a Ph.D. from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. He further honed his expertise by completing a Research Fellowship in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at the Sydney Clinical Rhinology Fellowship in Sydney, Australia. He is a consultant at the Otolaryngology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, and Vice Secretary of the ASEAN Rhinologic Society. Dr. Kachorn has earned accolades, including the Golden Endoscopic Award (2022) from the American Rhinologic Society, a Research Travel Award from the European Rhinologic Society, and the esteemed first prize for oral presentation at the Singapore Allergy and Rhinology Course. With numerous publications in Rhinology, endoscopic sinus, and skull base surgery, he is also a reviewer for esteemed journals, including the International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology and Laryngoscope.

Dr Kent Woo graduated from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia and obtained his Internal Medicine residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School where he was nominated by his peers to serve as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. He was then appointed as Assistant Professor of Medicine in charge of the academic hospitalist program at Norfolk General Hospital. Dr Woo received further subspecialty training in the field of Allergy and Immunology at Louisiana State University. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society for excellence in medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Currently Dr Woo is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Gleneagles Hospital.

Dr. Kugan Raman graduated with a medical degree from the International Medical University in 2009. He completed his higher surgical training in Otorhinolaryngology at University Malaya, and began his career as an ENT surgeon at Queen Elizabeth I Hospital, Sabah, before moving on to work at Labuan Hospital. Dr. Kugan is a member and serves as an International Surgical Ambassador (ISA) for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd). Since May 2023, he has been leading the Otorhinolaryngology Service at Cyberjaya Hospital. His areas of special interest include rhinology, skull base surgery, and sleep-related breathing disorders.

Dr. Liew Yew Toong: A Pioneering Force in Head and Neck ENT Surgery Associate prof Dr. Liew Yew Toong stands as a distinguished figure in the field of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) with a specialization in head and neck surgery. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he serves as an Associate Professor and is recognized for his extensive expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad spectrum of conditions affecting the head and neck regions. His areas of focus include salivary glands, thyroid and parathyroid, oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, and sinonasal area tumors. With a career marked by dedication to both medical and surgical facets of ENT care, Dr. Liew has earned acclaim for his proficiency in complex and advanced surgical procedures. His contributions extend beyond patient care into the realms of medical education and research, solidifying his role as a leader within the Malaysian medical community. Currently employed at the University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), Dr. Liew holds the position of consultant head and neck, thyroid, and parathyroid oncosurgeon. His commitment to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge is evident through his active membership in international organizations such as the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburg), the Korean ORL Society, and his recognition as the award winner for the head and neck surgery fellowship by the Korean Head & Neck Society in 2019. Dr. Liew's pursuit of excellence led him to further specialize in head and neck oncology training, underscoring his dedication to advancing his skills and knowledge in this critical area of medicine. His multifaceted contributions make him a prominent and influential figure in the global medical landscape.

Dr. Lo Ren Hui obtained his medical degree from Melaka Manipal Medical College. He obtained his Master’s Degree in ORL-HNS from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2021. He is currently undergoing his Rhinology training at Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah. Lo has a specific interest in Rhinology, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and skull base surgery.

After graduating with a degree in Dentistry with honours in 1998 (University of Sydney), Dr Manish went on to complete a degree in Medicine in 2005 (University of Sydney). With a special interest in craniofacial pain and sleep disorders, Dr Manish has also completed a Masters in Medicine in Sleep Medicine (University of Sydney). Over the past 20 years, he has set up special clinics in TMD and Sleep Management and provides a wholistic medical and dental approach to patients with these disorders.

Professor Datin Dr. Marina Mat Baki is a distinguished expert in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS) at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, UKM, specializing in laryngology, including voice disorders, phonosurgery, laryngeal carcinoma, and sleep apnea. She earned her medical degree and ORL training at UKM and a PhD in laryngology from University College London, focusing on pioneering laryngeal reinnervation research. Renowned for her multidisciplinary collaborations with neurologists and surgeons, Dr. Mat Baki expertly manages complex cases such as thyroid carcinoma and recurrent laryngeal nerve injuries. She has published over 85 indexed journal articles in Scopus and WOS journalsand is a driving force in advancing clinical education and research. In 2023, she was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at UKM, underscoring her exceptional contributions to medical practice, academic leadership, and the development of regional clinical expertise.

Dr. Mark graduated with First Class Honours in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at AIMST University. Subsequently, he furthered his expertise by completing a Master’s degree in Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery from UKM. Recently completed an attachment on Head & Neck Oncology Surgery at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Beyond his academic achievements, Dr. Mark demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development. Throughout his career, he has authored or co-authored over 10 articles and publications. Rhinology, Head & Neck surgery is a field close to heart.

Dr. Minh Hoang is a lecturer and consultant rhinologist at the Department of Otolaryngology, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, as well as Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. He is currently the Central Working Committee Board member of the ASEAN Rhinologic Society. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Science from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Hoang conducts research across various areas of rhinology and has received three research travel awards from the European Rhinologic Society and the European Respiratory Society. His expertise as a rhinologist includes overseeing clinical studies on allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis and conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses in the same fields. He has published papers on rhinology and endoscopic sinus surgery in international journals and serves as a reviewer for prestigious ENT journals worldwide.

A/Prof Narinder Singh is a Rhinologist, Chief of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Westmead Hospital, Sydney (Australia’s largest hospital complex) and Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Sydney (Australia’s oldest and largest medical school). He has published over 90 peer-reviewed publications, university textbooks and book chapters and has given over 240 guest and keynote presentations at international scientific meetings. He has supervised 11 PhD and Masters students to completion with another 6 PhD and Masters students currently under supervision. His team has received major funding from the Australian Research Council, Passe and Williams Foundation, Microsoft, ResMed, Optinose and GSK. His key research themes are Artificial Intelligence (AI) (www.amsah.org) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) (www.scona.org). His flagship research project is DrumBeat.ai, using artificial intelligence to address ear disease in rural and remote Australian Aboriginal children (www.DrumBeat.ai).

I am a Lecturer and Consultant in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). After earning a Master’s degree in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery from UKM in 2013, I pursued subspecialty training in Otology and Neurotology in 2015. In March 2020, I completed an international fellowship in Otology, Neurotology, and Lateral Skull Base Surgery at Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea. My clinical expertise includes temporal bone disorders, hearing implants, and minimally invasive techniques, with a growing focus on endoscopic ear surgery. I actively contribute to local and international conferences as both a speaker and participant. My research centers on middle ear ventilation, hearing loss, and their clinical applications. Widely published in esteemed journals, I remain committed to advancing knowledge and innovations in Otology and hearing-related fields.

Dr. Norman Mendoza is a distinguished ENT-HNS specialist with extensive training, including a Rhinology Fellowship at the University Hospital of Ulm, Germany, under Prof. Gerhardt Rettinger. He has held key positions in the Philippine Academy of Rhinology (Chair, 2010–2024), the Philippine Society of ENT-HNS (Board Member, 2017), and as Deputy Secretary General of the ASEAN Rhinologic Society (2013). Dr. Norman has led scientific committees and continues to serve as a Country Representative for the ASEAN Rhinologic Society and Associate Board Examiner for the Philippine Board of Otolaryngology-HNS. His expertise spans leadership, academic excellence, and regional contributions to rhinology and ENT-HNS.

Dr Nur Hashima Abdul Rashid is a consultant ENT Surgeon in Prince Court Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. She obtained her medical degree from King’s College London, United Kingdom, and her post graduate degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Although her clinical work encompasses general Ear Nose and Throat conditions, her special interest lies in sleep medicine and breathing dysfunction. She is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) since 2014, and she spent a year in the Sleep Surgery Division of Stanford University, California USA, as a research scholar. She is a member of the MSOHNS and the Sleep Disorder Society of Malaysia and is duly registered with the Malaysian Medical Council and the Academy of Medicine Malaysia.

Peter Catalano, MD, FACS, FARS graduated from Columbia University School of Engineering, followed by an MD from The Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine (MSH) in New York City. Completed his Residency at MSH and became a full-time faculty member (1990-1999) as an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, and Maxillofacial Surgery. From 2000-2010 he was Chair of Otolaryngology at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, followed by Chair of Surgery at Steward Health Care (2010-2012) then Chief of Otolaryngology and Rhinology Fellowship Director at SEMC and Professor of Otolaryngology at Tufts University from 2010-2023. In 8/24, became the Director of the “Dream On” Sleep and Sinus Clinic in Riyadh, KSA. Academically active with over 340 invited lectures, 25 book chapters, and 95+ peer-reviewed publications.

Rama Krsna serves as an associate professor in the Department of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at the National University of Malaysia. He holds significant leadership positions, including the role of country representative for the AO Foundation. He is also a life member of the Malaysian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a founding committee member of the Malaysian Dentofacial Sleep Society. Additionally, Krsna heads the Orthognathic Division and oversees the Master’s training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the university. Dr Rosalind Simon is a senior consultant ENT Surgeon at Pantai Hospital Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.
